The City of Mount Vernon is a great place to raise a family! The community comes together to celebrate many annual events and the city has a Community Wellness Center known as the Lester Buresh Center (LBC). The City of Mount Vernon boasts 7 parks, a swimming pool, a disc golf course, a 9-hole golf course, and a community athletic complex.
