The City of Mount Vernon boasts 7 parks, a swimming pool, a disc golf course, a 9-hole golf course, and a community athletic complex. AYSO Soccer – Registration information
(MVLS) Youth Soccer Club!
The MVLS Youth Soccer Club aims to make soccer available to boys and girls across ages in
Mount Vernon, Lisbon, and Springville by forming local teams, coached by local parents, that
play in a competitive league in eastern Iowa. The MVLS aims to recruit and grow local talent to
furnish and sustain winning programs in middle school and high school.
MVLS teams play in a boys and girls league, organized by the Cedar Rapids/Marion region of
the national American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO)
