The information below went to the 1st contact listed in Powerschool on October 1, 2026. At the end of your email will be the login and password needed to login to the Conference system.
This message should contain all the information you need regarding 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grade middle school parent/teacher conferences on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 4:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 2:00pm-6:00pm. Wednesday, October 21, 2026 is a 1:15 early dismissal day.
MVMS uses an online scheduling tool (PT Connect) so that you may schedule your own conferences. The scheduler will open on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 at 6:00am and will remain open until 3:00pm on the day prior to each conference day.
INSTRUCTIONS: The link to schedule conferences is at the bottom of this email along with your login information (child first name, child last name and password). Login with the information at the bottom of this email and follow the prompts. Click on the button next to the teacher(s) to schedule or change an appointment. Click on the circle next to the time you would like for your conference. A red X indicates a time slot that is not available. After choosing your time, click SUBMIT at the bottom of the page to save your selection. You will then see a confirmation.
After you are finished scheduling your student conferences, please click on the email icon and a copy of the confirmation will be sent to your email address. Starting on the night three days before the first conference, you will receive a daily email reminder of your conferences. Please contact Patty Mote with any questions at pmote@mvcsd.org
5th GRADE MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 4:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 2:00pm-6:00pm in the 5th grade classrooms. Parents are asked to sign up for one 15-minute time slot with the homeroom (same as 11th hour) teacher of your student. Each 11th hour teacher will share artifacts of student work from each of the core areas. Discussion will be about the progress in fifth grade overall, not just in one content area. PE, Art, Music, Spanish and ELP teachers will be available on a drop in basis for 8 minute segments.*PLEASE NOTE THAT 5TH GRADE CONFERENCE SIGN UP IS HANDLED THROUGH A DIFFERENT WEBSITE THAN THE 6th, 7th & 8th GRADE CONFERENCES. The link is at the bottom of this letter.
6th 7th & 8th GRADE MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES will also be held at the middle school on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 4:00pm-8:00pm and Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 2:00pm-6:00pm. Core Class Teachers, grades 6, 7 & 8, have been paired together to meet with parents as listed below. PE, Art, Music, Spanish and ELP teachers will be available on a drop in basis for 8 minute segments.
Please note for 6th – 8th Grade: Each conference will be 8 minutes in length. Parents are asked to schedule a time with one pairing of core class teachers of your child. If you feel that you need more than one 8-minute conference time slot, please contact one of the core teachers at 319.895.6254 to set up a meeting at another time. Please note: Mrs. Maddock is not listed in the conference scheduling program but has emailed parents of each of her students and is available on a drop in basis.
